Porcupine
Mountains
Wilderness State Park (9/28/03):
This park was established in 1945 to protect the last large stand of
uncut hardwood-hemlock forest remaining in the Midwest.

My wife and I were tickled with wonderous laughter by this 3-foot
wide "spinning foam cake", dusted with pine needles! This novelty was
one
