The Common Cactus-finch (Geospiza scandens, a bird in the Emberizidae family) is seen here on Isla Genovesa (or Tower Island), and is endemic to the Galápagos Islands, a province of Ecuador, South America. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
